
Philippa is a paralegal in the housing team. She graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2002 with an Honours degree in American & Canadian Studies. Her interest in law developed when she took some legal classes while studying at the University of California, Berkeley.
After graduating, Philippa worked for a year at the Sheffield Law Centre. She gained extensive experience of various aspects of immigration, housing and employment law and developed a passion and interest for publicly funded law services.
In 2003 she moved to Bristol to begin her legal studies at the University of the West of England (UWE). She completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Law in 2004 and was awarded a mark of distinction for the Legal Practice Course (LPC), which she completed in 2005. While studying, she also worked part time at Peter Browne, Solicitor. A firm that focused on providing affordable legal advice for all in the local community.
Philippa is dedicated to providing legal advice to the community and thus has fitted in easily with all at Tyrer Roxburgh since she began in July 2005.
Philippa also has a keen interest in film, music and cycling and she loves to travel.
